バンタンデザイン研究所卒業。1993年(有)ワッツアップ設立。元町にショールーム「ブティック AURA」を開設。’97 S/Sから東京コレクションに参加。「リッチな不良」をコンセプトに「アナログとデジタルの美しい融合」をイメージしたコレクションを発表。多数の有名企業との共同企画・開発や制服のデザインを手がける。2005年(株)ジーディーエフ代表取締役に就任。 2006年より『衣食遊』のトータルプロデュースを開始。これを『コクーン・プロジェクト』と名付け、2008年に（社）神奈川県繊維協会にて発表。音楽やART、TVや映画、様々な企業とのファッションプロデュースを通じて世界に向けて発信中。 2013年日本の養蚕業復活を目指す「日本シルクを守り育てる会」会長に就任。2016年｢横浜絹フェスティバル｣を立ち上げ、その後2022年からは「横濱コクーン・スクウェア」と銘打って研究者・生産者・加工者と共にシルクの可能性を『衣食遊商品』を通じ広く浸透を図る。現在、自身も純国産シルクを原料とした化粧品を開発中。

Graduating Vantan Design Institute, Inaba established What’s Up Co.,Ltd. in 1993. She opened a showroom “Boutique AURA” in Motomachi. Inaba joined Tokyo collection since 1997 S/S. The concept of the brand is “Rich delinquent”. Inaba’s collection is inspired by beautiful fusion of analogue and digital. She collaborates with various kinds of famous companies, planning and designing uniforms. In 2005, she has assumed the post of GDF Corporation CEO. In 2006 she started working in general producing of “food, clothing and pleasure”, which is named “Cocoon Project”, presented at “Seminar of fiber design” in “Kanagawa fiber association in 2008. Inaba dispatches her concept internationally through a fashion producing for various companies as music, art, TV, movie, etc. In 2013 she became a chairwoman of “The Society of Promoting and Developing Silk Industries in Japan”, of which aim is to reconstruct the Japanese silk industries. In 2016 she starts up “Silk Festival in Yokohama”.In 2022 she proposed “Yokohama.Cocoon.Square.” She worked with silk researcher, silk processor and silk producer. Because they are trying to spread possibilities of the silk in the world by “food, clothing and pleasure”. Currently she is developing the cosmetics of purely domestic silk material.
