宮城県出身。同県の服飾専門学校を卒業後、スタイリスト、ファッションリフォーム工場、アパレルオンラインショップと幅広くアパレルに従事。リサイクルショップで売られている着物を見て、日常着として使いやすいものにできればと考え、リメイクでオリジナルの着物制作を開始。 2018年、古着やデッドストックの着物を利用した創作和服プロジェクト『WEAR-2.5』をスタート、2021年より自社オンラインショップでの一般販売を開始。2022年に開催されたイベント、Tokyo Fashion Link 2022 Autumnで最優秀賞を受賞。


Born in Miyagi Prefecture, Japan. After graduating from a fashion vocational school in Miyagi, he gained broad experience across the fashion industry, working as a stylist, at a clothing alteration factory, and for an online apparel store.

Inspired by kimono found in secondhand shops, he began creating original remade kimono with the aim of making them more accessible and practical for everyday wear.

In 2018, he launched WEAR-2.5, a creative kimono project using vintage and deadstock kimono. In 2021, WEAR-2.5 began selling its collections to the public through its own online store. In 2022, the brand received the Grand Prize at Tokyo Fashion Link 2022 Autumn.
