Studied universal design at the University for the Creative Arts (UK) and joined ISSEY MIYAKE in 2006. Over 19 years, held diverse roles in overseas operations, marketing, and sales promotion. Gained extensive practical and managerial experience through new ventures and international expansion, such as launching “BAO BAO ISSEY MIYAKE,” establishing flagship stores in major European and American cities, and driving global e-commerce and social media strategies. After giving birth and raising children, her experience as a parent of a child with a rare disease led her to establish “zutto matsurika” in 2025, an atelier lifestyle brand centered on children's clothing. She aims to create “a future where all children and families can feel secure” through design. This is achieved by donating a portion of profits to support children with rare diseases and their families, and by building a system that incorporates artwork created by these families into the products. -
